In addition, after only being released for three months, this amazing game has earned the following awards: “Best Strategy Game” and “Best Multiplayer Game” (IGN.com), “PC Game of the Year” (GameSpy.com), “DotA-style Game of the Year” (PC Gamer), “MMO Game of the Year” (NeoGAF.com), “Strategy Game of the Year” and “Best Strategy Game” of E3 2009 (GameTrailers.com), “RTS Game of the Year” (GamerNexus.net), “Best Gameplay” and “Best MMORTS” (MMOSite.com). Also, League of Legends was nominated for “Best Debut” by the Game Developers Choice Awards 2010.
